OTAGO SUPPORTS INVITATION Press Associati<;ii DUNEDIN, ‘Wednesday. At a special meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association held this evening it was decided to support the New Zealand Council’s invitation to George .Simpson and George Bullwinkle, American athletes, to visit the Dominion next summer. Tt was also decided to ask the council to invite Paavo Nurmi, the world’s champion long distance runner, to compete in New Zealand, should he visit Australia during the coming summer.
