Mr. C. W. Earle, managing director of “The Dominion,” Wellington, was a passenger on the Limited this morning. Dr. E. Grant, of Dunedin, returned by the Rotorua on Saturday. He lias been doing hospital work in England lor the past five years.

Captain D. McClymont, of Wellington, is to take up the position of harbourmaster at Apia. Samoa. ire left for that port by the Tofua on Saturday.
