Aero Club Organises Gay Dance

Merry Evening at Oriental Rendezvous There was much merriment at the Oriental Rendezvous. Manaere. on Saturday evening. when the pilots and pupils of the Auckland Aero Club held another success* fu! dance. Clu£ members and their friends spent a very cheery evening dancing. ANNUAL MEETING HENDERSON METHODIST MISSIONARY AUXILIARY The annual meeting of the Henderson Alcthodist Missionary Auxiliary was held on Thursday. Mrs. Freeman was in the chair. Tli© following officers were elected: President, Mrs. Pratt; vice-president. Airs. Freeman; secretary. Airs. Williams; treasurer. Airs. Grainger; lookout member. Aliss Bridson. The bal-ance-sheet showed a satisfactory balance and the secretary’s report was received with acclamation. The giftbox for the Solomon Island Sisters was packed during the afternoon. Tea was served by Airs. Osborne and Airs. Grainger. FOR BRITTLE NAILS Nails need nourishment somfetimes. Uub the cuticle with olive oil or a fatty cream and slip on the cut-out fingers from old gloves. Let these remain over night. This keeps the cuticle soft and makes the nails less brittle
