WOMAN SHOT IN FACE
EXPLOSION OF RIFLE Press Association u DUNEDIN, Sunday. Owing to a rifle exploding, Mrs. Ada Alice Kyle, of Kew, was injured at Purakanui on Saturday afternoon. The rifle exploded while it was being taken apart by a young man and the bullet struck Mrs. Kyle below the right eye. She received medical attention and later was brought to the Dunedin Hospital for an X-ray examination.
