MATAROA LEAVES COLON.—Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that the liner Mataroa cleared Colon on Wedensday afternoon last. She left Wellington at daybreak on May 31 for Southampton and London. HERTFORD AT LONDON.—The Federal Line steamer Hertford is reported to have reached London from New Zealand on Saturday. She sailed from Auckland on May 15 for London. Hamburg, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER.—The Royal Mail liner Niagara reached Vancouver on Friday. The vessel is to sail on Wednesday on her return voyage to Auckland and Sydney, via Honolulu and Suva. She is due back at Auckland on July 14. THE EGERO.—•'With 10,600 tons of bulk motor spirit for the Shell Oil Company, the Norwegian tanker Egero arrived at Wellington on Friday morning from Singapore. She will discharge about 6,000 tons there and is to leave again tomorrow for Lyttelton to complete discharge. CORINTHIC LEAVES .SOUTHAMPTON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic was dispatched from Southampton on Friday with passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand. The cargo is for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is- due at Wellington on July 28. MAHANA SAILS WEDNESDAY.—Now at Queen’s Wharf completing her cargo for Halifax and London, the Shaw, Savill steamer Mahana is to be dispatched for those ports at daybreak on Wednesday, according to advice received from A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd. She proceeds via the Panama Canal. THE MAHENO.—Cabled advice from Melbourne reports the arrival there of the Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Mahepo from Bluff. The vessel is to leave Melbourne again on Thursday for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Bluff on Monday next and at Wellington on Friday, July 4. TAINU! IN PORT.—An arrival last evening was the Shaw, Savill liner Tahiti from Gisborne. She is now at Queen's Wharf finishing her Homeward loading under the agency of A. S. Paterson and Co.. Ltd. With passengers and mails, she is to be dispatched finally from this port at daybreak on Saturday for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. WAITE MATA RADIOS.—A further radio message received from the Union Company’s trans-Pacific cargo steamer Waitemata states that she expects to arrive here at 6 a.m. on Wednesday from Los Angeles. The vessel has a cargo of general Pacific Slope merchandise for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney.

KAIWARRA SAILS 10 P.M.—The Union Company’s collier Kalwarra is to sail at 10 o’clock tonight for Newcastle to load another cargo of coal for New Zealand. ROTORUA AND RUAHJNE.—The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Rotorua cleared Caracas Bay on June 18 and the Huahine the following day. The Rotorua is en route from London and Southampton to Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on July 14. The Ruahine is en route from Auckland to London. She sailed from Auckland on May 27. PORT FREMANTLE RADIOS.—A wireless message received by tn • Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company from the Commonwealth and Dominion Line vessel Port Fremantle, .n----ward bound from London, states that she expects to arrive in the stream here at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The vessel has a cargo of general merchandise for discharge at Auckland. Port Chalmers and Bluff, and a number of passengers for New Zealand. ENTON ARRIVES. — The motor-ship Enton, under charter to the A. and A. Line, arrived In port this morning from New York and berthed at Prince’s Wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo of general merchandise. The vessel left New York on May 11, and cleared the Panama Canal on May 23. SI e encountered boisterous conditions « n the run down from the canal, which prevailed right to the New Zealand coast. In command is Captain J. Smith. THE WAI MA RI NO. —The Uni patiy received a wireless message from the Waimarino. the last of its five new cargo steamers, reporting that she expected to arrive at Wellington today from Falmouth, via Durban. The new vessel is calling in there for fuel-oil, and has South African cargo for discharge at Lyttelton and Auckland. An oil-burner of 3,030 tons, of the Waipiata typ< Waimarino has been built specially for the Auckland-Wellin*^ton-Lytelton-Dun-edin-Bluff service, and attained a speed of 14.25 knots during her trials. Captain A. S. Dalgleish is bringing the vessel out.
