MR. J. W. RHODES ELECTED LIFE MEMBER SERVICES APPRECIATED In recognition of his valuable services to the Thames Trotting Club, Mr. T. W. Rhodes, ex-member of Parliament, has been elected an honorary life member of the organisation. At a recent meeting of the club, appreciative reference was made to the splendid work done by Mr. Rhodes since its inception in the interest of the sport generally. Owing to the Waikato Trotting Club having applied for the same date as Thames (March 28) for its 1931 fixture, a sub-committee was appointed to further consider the question
