DARGAVILLE NOTES
Mr. J. H. McCarroll was unanimously re-elected chairman of the- Kaipara Hospital Board at the annual meeting on Friday. The Minister of Health, the lion. A. J. Stall worthy, wrote stating that aJI hospital boards’ estimates were be:niZ closely scrutinised. It was essentia’ that the board should exercise every care in the collection of fees. The Minister of Health also wrote approving the appointment of Mr. W. A. Haden as secretary. • ♦ • The following officers have been elected in connection with the Dargaville branch of the Country Political League: President, Mr. W. A. Morgan, senior vice-president, Mr. R. A. Lewis: junior vice-president. Mr. R. Montgomery: secretary. Mr. C. Frost; assistant - secretary. Mr. E. Hodsell: executive. Messrs. G. Druitt, H. Corkill. T. Walton. F. Staples, F. Crawford, T>. Junor and R. GrilTen.
