REDUCED FREIGHTS ON MEAT AND DAIRY PRODUCE CONTRACTS RENEWED LONDON, Tuesday. . Mr. D. Jones, chairman of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, has secured the renewal of the contracts with the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Shaw, Savill and Albion and the Commonwealth and Dominion Lines, to carry meat for three years at a reduced rate of freight, which will save £50,000 a year. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has obtained a similar renewal of the contract for the conveyance of butter and cheese, at a saving of £35,000 a year.
