WINTER WOOL SALES
REDUCING CARRY-OVER Special to THE SUN WELLINGTON, Monday. Winter wool sales are to be held Throughout New Zealand supplementar J' to the usual crutching sales, with a new, if possible, of reducing, if not entirely dispersing, the carry-over of about 130,000 bales before the 1930-31 selling season opens toward the end of the year. The following sales dates have been i*. x —weliin g t on, June 17 and August u- June 19 and August 21; \ a nganui, June 21 and August 23; usborne, .Tune 24; Christchurch, June Dunedin. July 2; Timaru, July 9. At the Wellington sales, to be held tomorrow week, an offering of 2,500 ales of fleece wool and 1.500 bales of 'futchings is expected to be submitted 1? y u yers of Yorkshire, Continental, United States, Japanese, Australian and local firms.
