DOCUMENTS IN INQUIRY INTO MINING LEASES EX-PREMIER’S INTERESTS BRISBANE, Monday. The Royal Commission today resumed the inquiry into the Chillagoe and Mungana mining leases. Counsel for the Crown tendered copies of a bank’s ledger relating to the account of Mr. William McCormack, formerly Premier of Queensland. An officer of the bank deposed that 27 vouchers were not available owing to their destruction when the basement of the bank building was flooded some time ago. The commission adjourned till Wednesday in order to examine the account.
