I GAY EVENING WITH ATHENIANS I FAVOURS AMUSE GUESTS Mr. F. Green and Mr. W. Creighton were joint hosts at the “NigTit in Egypt” party, which W2S | thoroughly enjoyed by members of the Athenian Club and their friends [ at the Amateur Operatic Society’s Hall in Grafton Road on Saturday I evening. ! BRIGHT PROGRAMME Miss Ida Walker opened the! programme with an Eastern song, supported by a chorus of girls in appropriate costumes. The next item, a humorous silhouette entitled: “The Decease of Pharoah’s Daughter,” was vastly entertaining, the parts being taken by Mr. P. Dawes, Mr. W. Creighton, Mr. H. £>. Patterson, Miss N. Wright, Miss Clare Seale. Miss Nora Kirkby, Miss Nonie Wright and Miss Laura Walker. Others who contributed to the programme were Mr. Dan Flood, Mr. Raymond Reeves and -Miss Edna Thomas. Miss Clare Seale, and Messrs. Byrnes and Keatley. Miss j I-lope Asher and Mr. Frank Green acted ' as accompanists. Splendid music for dancing was provided by the Kit Kat Band.
