TRAM EXTENSION AT REMUERA OPENED.—The new extension from the former Remuera terminus to Meadowbank Road was opened yesterday morning. Mr. A. E. Ford and Mr. J. A. C. Allum, general manager and chairman, respectively of the Auckland Transport Board, were passengers on the first car to run over the new route, which is about 75 in length.
