MORRINSVILLE NEWS
Six degrees of frost were registered yesterday morning in Morrinsville. The rainfall during the week totalled .58in. A party of over 200 children from tho Morrinsville School travelled to the Waikato Winter Show. A Kiwitahi resident, Mr. W. Wells, while leaving one of the side-shows in the amusement section of the Waikato Winter Show’ on Wednesday afternoon, slipped and fell heavily. In falling, he suffered a nasty cut under the chin, also slight concussion. Mr. Wells wds removed to the Waikato Hospital.
Three horses fell at the same wire fence during the Waikato Hunt’s meet at Morrinsville on Wednesday. Mrs. W. Ranstead of Matangi suffered facial injuries and had to receive medical attention before being taken to the Waikato Hospital. Mr. J. Aislabie, of Te Aroha, escaped with a severe shaking and a cut lip. Mr. J. Knox, of Morrinsville, received injuries to his leg and chest and was confined to his bed yesterday.
At the annual meeting of suppliers of the New’ Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company in Morrinsville, the following district suppliers’ committees were elected;—Manga teparu: Messrs. S. H.
