Original Wodehouse Talkies HIGHLY-PAID HUMORIST The latest of the celebrities to succumb to the lure of the talkies is P. G. Wodehouse, the noted humorist, whose character of “Jeeves,” the butler, is one of the most famous of literary persons He has been signed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to write original stories and adaptations for the screen. Wodehouse is said to be the highest paid short story writer in the world. He is now in London arranging for the production of “The Three Musketeers” at the Drury Lane Theatre.
