BAND AT ZOO ON SUNDAY
The Municipal Hand plays at the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 2.45. A tine programme includes popular hymn tunes, bright marches, overture “The Caliph of Bagdad,” an Oriental phantasy “In a Chinese Temple Garden.” valse “Ange I)’Amour,” selections from the songs of Giro Pinsuti, and from famous Sullivan operas, and serenade “Millions B’Arlequin.” George Bancroft just missed being a naval officer. He attended the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, but decided he would rather act than wear gold braid.
