NEW BOWLING CENTRE
MEETING CONVENED
A meeting will be held at Pegler's Buildings, Manurewa, on Monday evening to consider the advisability ol forming a new bowling centre, to be known as the Manukau Bowling Centre. The proposed district will include the Otahuhu, Mans ere, Papatoetoe, Howick, Mar.urewa, Papakura and Clevedon Clubs.
It is claimed, by the promoters of th* scheme that under the existing conditions the Auckland Centre is becoming unwieldy, and the social side of tl;s game is being lost sight of completely, and it is to reinstate this element in the sport that the proposed step is to be considered. Invitations have been forwarded to the clubs interested to send delegates to the conference, and it is anticipated that each club will be represented.
