GROWING CAR-TAXATION
MOTOR UNIONS PROTEST “MOST UNFAIR,” SAYS M.P. Press Associatioti CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A conference of the Xorth and South Island Motor Unions today passed a resolution strenuously protesting against any further increase in motor taxation. Mr. A. E. An sell, M.P., said that various Xorth Island local bodies had urged a substantial increase in the petrol tax. That was the way of some people for solution of their difficulties bLit motorists could not consider the proposal, which was most unfair.
