WAIHEMO LEAVES LOS ANGELES. —Cabled news lias been received by the Union Company that the Waihemo left Los Angeles on Tuesday with Paeilie Coast cargo for discharge at Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Nelson and New Plymouth. She is due at Napier on June 21. F. G. DRUM LEAVES SAN PEDRO. — The Union Company has received cabled advice that its chartered tanker Frank G. GOLDEN CROSS SAILS 5 P.M.—Henderson and Maefarlane, Ltd., advises that 1 the O. and O. steamer Golden Cross, now at King’s Wharf loading scrap iron and general cargo for America, is to be dispatched at five o’clock this evening for Levuka (Fiji), where she is to take on a quantity of copra. . From there she proceeds to Honolulu to load sugar, thence to San Francisco. ! NIAGARA LEAVES SYDNEY.—The Union Company’s Royal Mail liner Niagara cleared Sydney at four o’clock yesterday afternoon for Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva, Honolulu, and Victoria ’ (8.C.). She is due at this port on Monday morning, and after pratique has i been granted will berth at Prince’s Wharf to land passengers, mails, and cargo for New Zealand. She is announced to resume her voyage to Vancouver at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. TAINUI DELAYED. —A radio message received by A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., from the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s liner Tainui, inward bound from London and Southampton, states that, she is encountering westerly gales and heavy weather, which will delay her arrival in port until Monday evening. She expects to arrive about dusk. The vessel has passengers for New Zealand and general cargo for discharge at Auckland and "Wellington. THE MIRRABOOKA. —Advice has been received by Spedding, Ltd., that the Swedish motor-ship Mirrabooka is to clear Stockholm on June 6, Gothenburg on June 10, and Oslo on June 13 with cargo for discharge at Bluff and Australian ports. En route she is to load Pacific Coast cargo, and is to take on cargo for Bluff at Los Angeles early in July, and is expected to arrive at Bluff at the end of July. This vessel is coming under the auspices of the General Steam Ship Corporation of San Francisco, which operates i*. Pa eitic-Coast-Austral-jan service with ships of the line to ■ which the Mirrabooka belongs. It is expected that these vessels will make calls at New Zealand ports at three-monthly intervals.
