MORE WOOL SALES DUNEDIN ANNOUNCEMENT From Our Own, Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. The Dunedin Wool Brokers' Association has made arrangements to hold another wool sale in the first week of July and possibly a further one in August or September. The pastoral year, as far as wool statistics are concerned, ends on June so that these sales will not affect the present season’s averages. PRODUCE IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Thursday. The following are today’s quotations *>n the Sydney produce market: — Wheat. —In ~ bulk, 4s 7£d; bagged, 4s Sd. Flour.— £lO 15s. Pollard.— £8 15s. Bran.— £B. Potatoes.—Tasmanian, £10; Victorian, £s. Onions.—Victorian, brown, £5. —White, 4s 3d; Algerian, 4s 6d —Yellow and white, ss. Adelaida prices are: Wheat. —4s 4d. Flour.— £lO ss. Bran.— £7 ios. pollard.— £ 1 17s 6d. Oats.— 2 S 8d to 2s lOd. LONDON WOOL SALES STRONG TONE AND BIDDING Reed. 10.5 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. At the wool sales 8,146 bales were offered, including 4,042 from New Zealand . About 7,300 bales were sold. There was a moderate supply of greasy Merinos and a good supply of scoureds and all New Zealand sorts. There was a strong tone and general bidding, and prices were maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbreds: Nireaha. Jl*d and lid; Fiako, lid and 103 d; Comeback Tirohanga, 13£d and 13d. LONDON TALLOW MARKET Messrs. Dalsety and Company, Ltd., report receipt of the following cable from their London house dated M “Tallow: J. 695 casks offered and 5 per cent. sold. The market is very depressing in sympathy with all other markets. Useless holding further sales until conditions better.” 4 TATTERSFIELD, LTD. An intrim dividend of 4 per cent, for the six months ended March 19 has been declared by the directors of Tattersfield, Ltd. The dividend is payable on June 10.
