DRIVER CHARGED WITH INTOXICATION
NEGLIGENCE ADMITTED J ' Press Association ' WELLINGTON, Today. ' In the Police Court today, Stanley - Everitt Cave pleaded not guilty to a charge of being drunk when in charge of a car, and guilty to a charge of negligent driving. The case arose from a collision on the Hutt Road between a car driven by Cave and a lorry in charge of a carrier named Carter. Cave was fined £2O and bis licence was suspended for three months.
