AFTERNOON PARTY' IN CITY' Airs. AV. Iv. Tugby. Eldon Road. Alount Eden, was hostess at an enjoyable bridge afternoon at the J.C.L. Tearooms yesterday. The tea tables were beautifully decorated with silver and cut glass bowls of iceland poppies The hostess received her guests wearing a smart costume of fawn with fox furs, and a white hat. Among the guests were Airs. J Fuller, Airs. Heath Freest, Airs. J. D. Webster, Airs. Kay Stratton, Airs. D. Hyauiason, Airs. Gibson, Airs. Smallbone, Airs. Kissin- Airs. Sands, Airs. A. E. Alacartney and Airs. T. P. Halpin.
