tug on the rocks
POUNDING HEAVILY WITH ENGINE-ROOM FILLED MISHAP OFF CAPETOWN CAPETOWN, Saturday. A new Dutch-built tug, the St. Croix, fan on the rocks when she was two hours out from Walflsch Bay last flight. The boiler and engine rooms were flooded and the ship is pounding heavily. The crew has been taken off, but it is feared that the tug will be a total loss. 111-luck has dogged the tug, which was damaged in heavy weather in the Say of Biscay, and she had to put hack to Brixham, South Devon.
