Drinnan. figured ring velvet; Miss C. Riesterer, black velvet with diamente trimmings; Miss C. Faulder, black georgette with uneven hein of lace; Miss M. Tyne, vieux rose ninon, uneven hem. Miss L. Hassall, cream satin Avith overdress of lace. MATAMATA NEWS Mr. and Mrs. .1. F. Wells have returned from Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Swinbourne are visiting Whangarei. Mrs. A. Ferguson, who lias been the guest of Mrs. A. S. Thirlwall, Hinuera Road, has returned to Hamilton. Miss M. Stansfield has returned to Te Kuiti, after spending the vacation with Mrs. Clyffe Taylor. Mrs. Rigby, who has been visiting Mrs. T. R. Bluclt. Taihoa, returned home on Monday.
