AIRDROME APPROVED
PLANE FOR NEW PLYMOUTH Special to TUB SUB NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. The airdrome at Bell Block used by the New' Plymouth Aero Club having been passed after an inspection by Wing-Commander Grant Dalton, * machine will be given by the Government to tho Club. The plane Is expected to arrive in the Dominion in about a fortnight and will be handed over as soon as a temporary fence the airdrome has been removed. The Xew Plymouth club’s plane has now a record of more than 100 flyi ng hours. There are on the books Vi trainees, 16 of whom are being trained at present. "With the provision of the lurther plane, the training of pupil* "ill progres more quickly, and, when the federation is Jegallv constituted, * Government subsidy of £SOO will !*- come available. Arrangements are -n hand for the formation of a club '•& Marton, which will join the federation
