SALVATION ARMY CONCERT
The young people’s division of the Salvation Army gave a concert in the Scots Hall last evening before a large audience. A choir of 200 voices took part and displays of drill were given by massed troops of life-saving guards. Commissioner J. Cunningham presided and Mr. Rush judged the drill display. The competition results were: Concert Hall troop, 1; Newton, 2; Devonport, 3; Newmarket and Onehunga equal, 4
