MOORE’S POSITION

NOW ELIGIBLE TO PLAY LEAGUE AFFAIRS OF EXECUTIVE C, Moore (Ponsonby) appeared before the Auckland Rugby Football League Management Committee’s judicial committee last evening as the result of an incident in which he was concerned last season. The committee decided to take no further action, which means that Moore will be able to play for his club, if the selector calls upon him. Last Saturday’s delay of 10 minutes in the start of the main match was discussed in committee by the Management Committee. Mr. F. Dyson was appointed to represent the Point Chevalier Club on the Managament Committee in the place of Mr. H. Solomon, who has tendered his resignation. The committee confirmed the emergency committee’s action in accepting the suggestion that the Northern Union Challenge Cup match, Northland v. Auckland, be played on Saturday at Carlaw Park, as put forward by the New Zealand Council. It was therefore decided to play no senior A grade matches on Saturday, but the senior B competitions will be continued. R. W Seagar, formerly of the Devonport League Club, who had played two games of Union Rugby this season, applied for and was granted reinstatement to the League Rugby code. R. Norman (Ponsonby) was granted a clearance by that club, and transferred accordingly to the Northcote Ramblers Club. May 31 for the South AueklandAuckland match and June 14 for the North Island v. South Island match were approved at the request of the New Zealand Council. SATURDAY’S DRAW Following are the fixtures for Saturday : —• Representative JMatch.—Auckland v.
