ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS
POLL AT PANMURE TODAY The election of seven members of the Ostend Road Board was held yesterday and resulted in six of the retiring: members being re-elected and the return of Mr. A. E. Adams. There were 11 candidates for the seven vacancies. The voting was as follows: Successful. —E. Griffiths. 248; G. R. McGrevy, 242; F. H. Brown. 240: H. W. Williams. 218; L. Arnoldson. 211; T. W. Finer, 210; A. E. Adams, 118. Unsuccessful.—W. G. Hancock. 107:’ H. Richardson. 78; W. J. Hill, 71; J. Edgar. 62. Three members of the Panmure Town Board will be elected today. There are six nominations. Messrs. J. Allen, W. G. Brown and W. Majpno (retired members). A. R. Abbott. J. F. Prince and G. Turton. The booth will be at Dyer’s Hall. Panmure, and polling will bp conducted between 9 a.m. and € p.ni.
