CHILDREN’S ACCIDENTS (1C) £5 will be paid to the parent whose name appears on the registration form iu the event of an accident to his or her child over the age of six and under the age of 16 years causing broken arm above the wrist or broken leg above the ankle providing such accident is the direct result of one of the aforementioned and defined accidents and does not occur during employment PROVIDED ALWAYS that the above Undertaking and Agreement is subject to the following special conditions which are the essence of the contract. Darnel:, (a) The scope of the Insurance is restricted to accidents happening in New Zealand and to steamers sailing within New Zealand territorial waters. (b) In the case of death, such death must result within 50 days after the accident. (d) IN THE CASE OF PERMANENT -TOTAL OR PARTIAL DISABLEMENT that notice of the accident be given by the subscriber as aforesaid within foutteen (14) days of the accident. (e) IN THE CASE OF TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABLEMENT that notice of the accident be given by the subscriber as aforesaid within seven (7) days of the accident. (f) That Medical Certificates and other necessary information be furnished by the claimant upon request. (g) That the total liability in respect of claims arising out of any one railway accident or disaster which results in the death within thirty (30) days of mor*> than one person shall not exceed the 6Ui of £1,000; in any such event the sa:-r sum of one thousand pounds (£1.000) will be paid pro rata. <b) That the total liability In respect cf claims arising out of any one accident or disaster, other than railway accident.*, which results in the death within thirty days of more than one person shall no' exceed the sum of one thousand pounds (£1.000) In the event of such happening the said sum of or.e thousand pounds shall be paid pro rata. (1> That no compensation shall be payable for any accident happening while the subscriber is carrying another per - son or riding upon a luggage or pilliorcarrier of a cycle or motor-bicycle. (j) That no compensation shall be payable for any accident sustained whi'.e the subscriber is in a state of intoxication or resulting from suicide or atterr.: t thereat, an overdose of drugs, insanity, war. riot, or civil commotion or for art injury arising out of and in the course of his or her employment save ss allowed In clauses 2 and 6 hereof. (m) That the wife or husband of a Home Delivery Subscriber ordinarily residing with him or her shall be deemed to be a Home Delivery Subscriber.
