OFFICERS INSTALLED The installation of officers of t'n*i Star of Papakura Lodge, No. 82, J.0.0.F., was held on Alonday, the following being installed: —1.P.G., Bro. C. J. Aldington; N.G., Bro. A. C. Beams: V.G., Bro. J. E. AlcGill; secretary, Bro. C. B. Lever; treasurer, Bro. J. H. Alullins; warden, Bro. J. H. Hill, P.G.; conductor, Bro. D. O. Atkinson, P.G.; R.S.N.G., Bro. C. H. Naden, P.G.; L.S.N.G., Bro. F. J. Walker, P.G.; chaplain, Bro. T. C. Dunckley; 0.G., Bro. K. Croskery; 1.G., Bro. H. F. Bowman; R.S.S., Bro. A. Johnston; L.S.S., Bro. O. Muir; R.S.V.G., Bro. W. Vince; L.S.V.G, Bro. S. Richardson.. There was an exceptionally large muster of visitors from Auckland and surounding districts, over 100 members being present, including:—Bro. P. Armiger, Past Grand Master. Bro. Harding. P.D.D.G.M.. Bro. AI. J. Hooper. P.D.D.G.M.G. Sire; Bro. A. J. Grev, Grand Warden. Bro. H. AI. Barriball, D.D.G.M. for Franklin. The following lodges were strongly represented:—Grand Lodge, Star of Auckland No. 26, Star of Eden No. 54, Star of Ellerslie No. 100, Westmere No. 146, Aroatea No. 69. Epsom No. 88, Clevedon No. 75, Star of Waiuku No. 55, Excelsior No. 70, Otahuhu No. 147, Alpha Juvenile.
The installation ceremony was carried out by Bro. AT. J. Tloopcr and a team from Epsom Lodge.
In his address, Bro. Armiger remarked that he was instrumental in the formation of the Star of Papakura Lodge 21 years ago, and he hoped to be present at the twenty-first anniversary of the lodge in July next.
