HOSPITAL FOR TE AROHA
REQUEST TO BOARD From Our Oxen Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A request that the Waikato Hospital Board should reconsider its refusal to erect a maternity Home at Te Aroha was made by a deputation from the Te Aroha Borough Council at a board meeting today. The Piako County ehair.man, Mr. W. A. Lowry, said that the County Council would probably make a grant ,of £I,OOO and the Borough Council £SOO toward the project. The board decided to send the House and Finance Committee to investigate the position.
