DUNEDIN UNEMPLOYED
MAYOR APPEALS TO MINISTER “POSITION IS DESPERATE” Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. A deputation representing 500 unemployed and their dependents today waited on the Mayor, who wired to the Minister of Public Works urging the immediate opening of works in or near Dunedin, adding, "The position is desperate and will undermine the manhood of the country if not alleviated quickly.”
