CROSSING-KEEPER HURT
KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT IN CHRISTCHURCH Pi ess Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. An elderly crossing keeper, H. Mei rath. received severe bruises through being knocked down by a motor-cyclist at the Colombo Street crossing on Saturday evening. A race train from Amberley had just crossed when the motor-cyclist, who was going south, crossed the lines and knocked the keeper down.
