NAME REMOVED FROM MEDICAL REGISTER PROTESTS INNOCENCE Application made by the Board of the Medical Council of New Zealand, to nave the name of Balder Singh Sha%e removed from the register of medical practitioners, on the grounds that he was convicted on an indictable ottence, was granted by Mr. Justice Herdraan in the Supreme Court this morning. Mr. V. R. Meredith represented the Council while Share, although not represented by counsel, filed an affidavit protesting his innocence. ’’He was found guilty by a jury and I have no doubt that the finding was correct,” said His Honor. The application was granted with the proviso that Share would not apply for re-ad-mission within a period of five years. Share was sentenced to three years’ hard labour in November. 19 29, on a charge of indecent assault on a young woman patient.
