VICTORIA OPENS AGAINST N.Z. FOURSOMES IN PROGRESS Pi esa Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The match between Victoria and New Zealand for the Kirk-Windeyer golf cup began at Shirley this morning in fine weather. The teams are as follow: New Zealand.—Horton, Macfarlane. Dr. Ross, Black. Victoria. —Russell, Ryan, Hancock, Bulte. The foursomes of 36 holes are being 1 p!ayed today, and the singles will be ; played tomorrow. Scores at the end of the morning round were:—Macfarlane and Horton, 2 up on Ryan and Bulte, and Russell and Hancock 4 up on Ross and Black.
