CHINESE CONSUL
VISIT TO HAMILTON From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Thursday. A Tvarm welcome was given by the local Chinese community today to Mr. T. S. Ou, Consul for the Republic of China in New Zealand, who visited the town, accompanied by Messrs. Chan Yu, chairman of the Chinese Community Association, Auckland; N. <t. Fong and IT. Boui. joint chairmen of the Kuo Alin Tang, in Auckland; and C. Ah Cliee. Mr. Kwak, jun.. extended greetings on behalf of the Hamilton Chinese. In reply, Mr. Ou referred to his recent inability to visit his fellow-countrymen on account of recent happenings in < 'hina. Mr. Ou did not refer to politics, but enjoined his audience to conduct themselves in the worthy manner which had characterised their residence in the Dominion.
