ENLARGING THE RlOl
WORK STARTED ON GREAT AIRSHIP TO BE CUT IN HALVES Reed. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. The work of enlarging the gasbag accommodation on the RlOl has been commenced. It will occupy three months. The big airship will be cut in halves, and a complete new hag will be installed, increasing the length to 780 ft. It. will be the world’s longest dirigible. It is calculated that the load capacity will be increased by ten tons. Kay doubts as to whether she will be capable of going to India will now be removed.
