Summer Frocks Prevail at Races

Gloriously fine and warm, the perfect weather for the second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer carnival at Ellerslie, enticed patrons forth in all the beauty of their holiday frocking. Particularly summery and charming, the soft chiffons and georgettes looked, against the green of the lawns and the bright colouring of the flowerbeds. Shades of lime and lemon held pride of place, and many of the attractive new blues and greens vied for popularity with soft shades of beige.
