NEW SAWMILL OPENED
FUNCTION AT KOPAKI From Our Own Correspondent TE K.UITI, Today. The official opening of Pask’s new sawmill, in the Waipa Valley, about 14 miles from Kopaki, was performed by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot. member for Waitomo, on Saturday afternoon. The mill is situated on the edge of a large tract of fine bush and when in full swing will easily turn out 10,000 feet of timber a day, and with 20 years’ work assured, should prove of great benefit to the district. The mill has been erected by Mr. J. E. Parker, of Auckland.
