AN EXCITING PASTIME
Mr. Smith and Mr. Brown found fishing such a slow occupation that both fell asleep. While sleeping Brown fell into the water, and as he was scrambling up the bank Smith awoke with a start. “Hullo,” said Smith. “Where have you been?” “Only to see if my bait was still there,” was the reply.
