PALATIAL MANSION FOR AMBASSADOR ARRIVAL AT LONDON SOON British Official Wireless RUGBY, Sunday. Sunderland House, one of the most palatial mansions in the West End of London, has been acquired by the Soviet Government as the official residence of M. Sokoluikoff, the recently appointed Ambassador to Great Britain, who is expected in London this week. As King George will be in residence at Buckingham Palace for the next 10 days it is probable that M. Sokolnikoff will present his credentials there early next week, possibly simultaneous'/ with the presentation of his credentials by Sir Esmond Ovey, the new British Ambassador to Moscow, to the Soviet Government. Sir Esmond was to have left London en routs for Moscow yesterday, but the cancellation of the Channel steamer services, owing to the storm, necessitated a postponement of his start.
