OTHER CHARGES AGAINST PRISONER Already serving a term of 12 months’ imprisonment, Leonard Janies Monk appeared at the Police Court this morning and was remanded on a charge of false pretences. Monk was charged with obtaining a motor-car valued at £-115 from the Premier Motors at Auckland on November 13 by giving a valueless cheque for £45 as deposit. The cheque was alleged to be signed with the name of J C. Mclntyre and drawn on the Bank of New Zealand. Pukekolie. Applving for a remand until Monday. the chief-detective remarked that there would be several charges against Monk. __
