MAN’S FINGERS RIPPED OFF

Last evening Robert Wilson Stewart had his thumb and index finger of his left hand ripped off by a circular saw.

He was employed in a factory at Papatoetoe, and his hand accidentally slipped on to the saw while it was revolving at a great speed. Mr. Stewart was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital for treatment, after which he was allowed to return to his home in Cambria Avenue, Papatoetoe.
