“EXALTED FLAPPER” AT EPSOM
It may be there are princesses who have their drab days and fuh hours, but if one is to judge from the portrayal of the antics of her royal highness by dainty Sue Carol in “The Exalted Flapper,” the current attraction at the Regent Theatre. Epsom, such is not the case in the mythical kingdom of Capra. The Princess Lola manages to have a wonderful time, during a visit to New York with her queen mother, depicted by stately Irene Rich, and back at the old royal home somewhere in the Balkans, even though her romance is temporarily halted by schemes of state for a royal marriage for money. “Blindfold,” the second feature, is an exciting tale of a gang of unscrupulous jewel thieves who employ a beautiful girl as their decoy.
