CAR CRASHES INTO POLE
Swerving in an endeavour to avoid an elderly woman, a motor-car which was turning out of Epsom Avenue into Manukau Road yesterday afternoon crashed into a telegraph pole and came to rest against a stone wall, dislodging part of the wall. The car was not extensively damaged and the driver escaped with a slight injury to one hand.
