For Cumberland against Petersham, Cole mad© 72, and Leadbeater 65 not out. Bowling for Mosman against Northern District, Hooker took three for 14, and Bassett four for 51 and eight for 39. For Manly against Merrickville Cummins took four for 12. At Melbourne, batting for Prahran against North Melbourne, Littleton mad© 75. Bowling lor Hawthorn against Fast Melbourne, Ellis took five for 25 and Ironmonger live for 64. For Northcot© against South Melbourne, a’Beckett took four for 57.

From Our Own Correspondent NGATEA, Today. A satisfactory financial position was shown at the annual general meeting of the Kerepeehi Sports Association on Friday evening, when Mr. J. M. Thompson presided over an enthusiastic meeting of members. A credit balance of £132 was shown, the profit for the year’s working being £3O. This would have been greatly in excess of that of previous years had the prize-money not been increased, and over £42 spent on ground improvements. The secretary, Mr. J. E. Smith, was voted £l2 12s. Five guineas was voted to the Turua Town Band, and £5 5s to Mr. C. Pearce for his services. In view of the fact that the Hauraki Plains A. and P. v Society’s showground had recently been sold, the question of holding the annual sports on Easter Monday w-as deferred pending an arrangement being entered into with the purchaser of the ground. Messrs. J. M. Thompson, C. Clifford, and AV. Thomson w r ere deputed to make the arrangements.
