FIRE AT CHEMIST’S
OUTBREAK AT HAMILTON From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. Fire broke out in the office of a chemist shop occupied by Mr. O. E. Coombridge, in the South British Insurance Company’s new brick buildings in Victoria Street, on Saturday afternoon. The shop was closed when the fire was discovered by Constable Andrew. He summoned the fire brigade, which confined the outbreak to one room, though a quantity of chemicals was destroyed. The stock was insured for £6OO in the South British office.
