SPECIAL COMPETITION
ESSAY ON AVIATION FIRST PRIZE, ONE GUINEA \ SPECIAL, essay competition is announced tor children between "‘‘A the ages ot 12 and 15, with the subject, “The Most Suitable Airplane for New Zealand —and Why.” The first prize of one guinea will be presented by the “Roc,” and a second prize of half a guinea will also be awarded, the prizewinning entries to be published in the “Airways” columns of The Sun. Essays, which should be written or typed on only one side of the paper, should reach the Dawn Lady not later than Wednesday, December 11, 1929. Word limit: 800 words. Competitors who are not associated with Happy Town should fill in the enrolment form at the foot of the page! and all envelopes must be clearly marked: “Special Competition.”
