DANCING AND CARDS
POPULAR GIRL COMPETITION AT MORRINSVILLE The Morrinsville Tennis Club popular girl competition is being conducted enthusiastically. On Thursday a dance and card party was held in support of Miss Adele Cornish’s candidature, Mr. and Mrs. G. Oates being host and hostess. It was a most successful affair. The music was supplied by supporters, Misses V. Brayshaw, A. Thomas, P. Carley and M. Grimwade. The prize-winners at cards were Mrs. J. H. Wyatt arid Mr. L. Chapman. Miss Humphreys received the lesser award.
