MAN MISSING
WALTON RESIDENT DISAPPEARS IN AUCKLAND LAST SEEN AT NEWMARKET Arriving in Auckland last week on a business visit, Mr. Arthur William Wood, of Walton, has been missing since November 30. the date on which he was to return home. He came to Auckland to consult the Commissioner of Lands about farms, and was last seen at 10.15 a.m. at Newmarket last Saturday, when he expressed his. intention of catching the Rotorua express. He is ii married man, 61 years of a &e, sft Tin in height, with grey hair, and inclined to baldness. He has a brownish-grey moustache, fresh complexion, prominent forehead, and has no teeth in the upper jaw, but an artifieial sot in the lower jaw. W hen last seen, he was carrying a suitcaso containing clothing and papers from the Commissioner of Lands. lie was wearing a grey suit * hTY? ‘‘P e PPer-and-salt” variety, light felt hat, black boots, butterfly collar and striped tie, and was carrying a light raincoat over his arm.
