ANTI-BRITISH FEELING Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Hon. W. H. Trlggs, M.L.C., and Mrs Triggs, arrived from London by the Rualitne after a tour which included South Africa. He took part in the inter-parliamentary conference in Berlin. He expresses himself as shocked at the racial bitterness In South Africa and the distinctly anti-British feeling shown bv General J. B. Hertzog, Prime Minister. The Government treaty with Germany effectively debarred any further preference to Great Britain, and there was no disposition in official quarters to encourage either Britishrnade goods or British immigration, or investment of British capital. The anti-imperial spirit was shown chieflv in the Transvaal and Orange Free State, and was strongly resented by Natal and Rhodesia, which were thoroughly loyal to the Mother Country.
